Time for projects this week - Stocks and WISP
And to finish studying all the lectures by the time school begins.

Short of time~

Had a good time in Sentosa today w dom, yt & zx. Played bridge, cheat and monopoly deal while on the mat as the sun chose to hide itself for the 1st two hours..

When the sun finally came out, yt & zx went to get their lunch and dom left to put his suntan oil, leaving me alone in the sun with all the stuffs. It was a good twenty mins before he came back and i am wow.. blacker already. compared to dom sun-tanning for an hour while we played dai di in the shade and his suntan effectiveness was the same as my 20 mins tan -.-

I'm red and feeling hot on my face, neck and black -.- So fun to play card games again after such a long while!

After that we headed off to Changi Airport to fetch dom's parents at the airport! Had a good western meal at Han's there and then home we went in this big luxurious cab. Driver young and punk, good command of his English and presentable.

I wonder if taxi drivers must now have a degree to drive this cab... well the usual taxi drivers need to pass at least their o levels and english as far as i know!

I am determined!

To loose weight.

I'm gonna visit the gym every Saturday and improve my stamina, at least be how i was in secondary school.

All so that i will stop feeling so fat and I will be able to wear all the beautiful dresses everywhere!!

I've been working. For the 2nd time in my life. For a wonderful friend whom i met in a bazaar. Best boss ever!
I am in-charge of online marketing for her shop at China Square Central selling ATAS jewellery! Hehe feel so inspired for my online webby too thus my new facebook page :D

Does a couple need complete similarities to be able to be happy with one another? If no, do they have to have a majority of similarities?

What if they don't? It doesn't matter does it? What matters is that you're happy with that person and you feel complete with each other.

In tough times, do you feel like slamming things? In good times, do you feel like nobody could be happier than you? Why the vast difference?

Its time to update w the hols here!

Back after a month of hiatus. Obviously, its the school activities taking up too much of my time and putting priorities straight first.

So during the month of May, lets see.. what interesting things happened.
Wished a friend happy birthday and he replied me "Thanks, and treasure my brother because the people who are like him are extinct already".

I was touched by what he said, what he thought of dom and just feels good for people to say nice things about your other half!! haha

I also went to IKEA and had my first meal there... as long as i can rmb that is. Saw so many people with a pile of chicken wings on their tables so i decided to be like one of them and ordered 6 for myself LOL. Anobolic diet failed after that. I could only last for a day and a half before all my cravings for carbs came crashing again.
Bought dom a fruit tart from his favourite store to sing a song for him w chris and jh but when we finally had the time, the tart was squashed and I had no lighter :((((

May 29 marks the 20th birthday of dom and on the 28th, his parents and us headed to Johor to have some fun!! Fun and excitement we had indeed. Took the wrong causeway link bus and we had no way out and we just had to follow the bus whereever it goes. Ended up in Bukit Indah and phew there was Jusco, a shopping mall. We had a good time eating the steamboat there and it was cheap!

And for the first time, i followed dom around while he shopped and i didn't buy anything from that whole trip, as promised :D Time to do the things he want and not what i want hehehe. And then we 4 got conned by taxi drivers there :(
Took the executive cab back to city square, which is actually equivalent to a black cab in Singapore and the cost ended up a flat 40RM... ridiculous for a price in Malaysia to pay.

Collected my first pairs of contact lens too!! :D:D But i haven wore them till now because i have yet to try them on.. sickening feeling leh!! I need to learn how to put contacts so i can put on make-up at least to look more mature for work!!!

I'm gonna be helping a friend out at her store selling ATAS jewellery. It freaked me out that there was sooooo many kinds of precious gems and stones name which i never knew about and I am to help sell them.... to Chinese speaking Tai Tais!!!!! I will try to concentrate on writing a business proposal for my friend and aid in her grand opening instead hah can't imagine me selling jewellery in Chinese when i don't even know what Jewellery is in Chinese. Pathetic Chinese :(

Anyway sent in my resume and cover letter to lots of companies and finally had some positive replies.. hope for the best and be prepared for interviews!!

bought my mom a long long tube of dark chocolates. haha she's always been crazy over chocolates so probably its the best thing to get for her..

I'm coping with school. I wish it didn't have to be the word "coping" but rather "enjoying".
New class, new classmates, new project team mates, new people, different personalities to deal with and to get used to.

4th week of school tmr, almost a month. Pls.. let me feel at ease from now on.
I'm out of my comfort zone every single day, looking forward to the times where i can see my old friends.

I would say that my first 2 days of school was compensated for the other.

1st day wasn't that good.. i need to get used to different people with different attitudes. I have a primary school classmate who is now in my class, and my secondary school mate also in my class. Went home pretty upset about the day's turnout.

Today was way better though. Met up forl unch with mayni, dawn, yanting and zhanxian before school started at 2pm. We had 50 mins to kill so we ended up playing The Game of Life.. which is what zhan xian and I have been playing for the past 2 weeks and so far taught 4 people how to play haha. Went lecture after that.. and i think my lecturer rocks. An inspiring, motivational speaker i must say. I think he must have success in life already because i sense he is different from other lecturers.

Caryn's house

Met Mayni today at Clementi and ate KFC at the new Clementi Mall before heading over to Kovan to go to Caryn's house.

It was a long journey but a good talk with mayni.. we haven talked this long for soooooooo damn long since we got into different classes how many sems ago???

kept looking out for a mansion when we were searching for caryn's house and somehow we just couldn't find it! then we saw a house with its gate wide open and we thought of just going in and ding-dong first.. but decided not to in case it was the wrong house lol.. but aiya correct la, we amazing ppl.

when we entered, we found caryn and yanting dancing to some hip-hop song on the xbox thing. kinect was it? damn cool censon which detects all the dance movements. lol and we danced for a good 2 hours before switching to some athelete game.. need to run and the censor don't like me and mayni.. every time we jog damn fast, the person in the xbox move so slow -.- but it was like exercising man!!

and so funny and entertaining watching all of us dance to those hip-hip moves hahaha.. poker face still rocks cos its the easiest wahahaha. played the piano awhile after i heard caryn played the Final Fantasy song, To Zanarkand. Super nice la the song... been wanting to play that a long time already but the score of mine seems damn hard to play.

then we moved on to Bridge.. won the first few times before losing the next few times haha. and then Poker again ^^ Super happy, i got a full house kings haha! again addicted and was hard to leave ryn's house... so we ended up all being late to go off somewhere so we took a cab to VIVO City!

Went off to withdraw money before meeting up with yanting and zhanxian again for dinner at Pasta Mania. The salad was $2.90 only cos closing time.. we thought have chicken.. but end up only green lettuce and half egg la -.- get cheated lol!

All in all, i had a great time today ^^ So funnnnnnnn... i can't wait for more outings. hahaa

Did i mention that i ate frog porridge for the 1st time in my life? ;o

tasted yummy hehe.

Went to Kent Ridge's symphonic band SYF on 7 April. Amazed with their music and i can really feel all the hard work placed in it..

New conductors, new teachers, many new and young students in the band whom i don't recognise.. but at least there's still 2 batches who rmb me haha. And the band girl got wild in me once again, as dom would call it. lol! Medal was a bronze.. disheartening. some of them broke down and i could see their bond, some guys comforting the girls etc.

it reminded me of 4 years back when my SYF results came and i was just jumping around in anger/sadness that what we got was a bronze as well. they will get over it soon.. cos naturally, thats what all humans do.

Dinner was at the Ashtons. 1st time there, food and ambience was great.

Price is really reasonable as well. Time out with chris, jh, clara and zn was hilarious... probably with all the comments made my zhennan lol. couldn't stop laughing that night.. it really reminded me of the joy i had laughing everyday in secondary school.

how i miss those times! the times where you have more time with your friends everyday as somehow you'll find time to talk during lessons and all, unlike poly where the class is always so quiet during lessons as there won't be remedials to make up for it.

This week is finally my rest week and to focus on all the left-to-dos.

Met yt and zx in school after i settle the stuffs in school and then left for hazel's house..

played poker, bridge and dai di the whole time and got suan like hell haha shit.

but yay !! not so scared of next term already :D

Met gina and yann lup at NUS, had lunch and ended up at the School of Computing. Each student had their own table to do their work.. amazing, but the school fees comfirm nice also. So we 3 shared the whole table and did our online stuffs and discussed some things.

Went for my doctor appointment today and the bill $90 T.T

hope the medicine will solve everything :)

A week has gone by since my last update and it has been an interesting week of bazaar-ing and a great weekend!

Met awesome people who became quick friends at the bazaar.

How awesome was that what started from doing a survey for them became a 4 hour long chat with 3 of them and then friend's friend and friend's friend's friend arrived and they ended up partying together.

Not me though.. i ain't those sort and i have never party-ed hehe. They are all westernized people so they are really open.. some attitudes i like and some, would be a matter of time getting used to.

On another day of the bazaar, shared the booth with Dom's aunty and her helper was really nice! gave her a gift cos i felt like it hehe.

then peak hour charge and a looooong U-turn fare killed me.

I think bazaar is another good way of making friends. Some whom will help you along and some whom are out to get your money. I have experienced both sides and sometimes i feel that i'm just too nice to them.

but then i have my fair share of good bazaar friends and i really appreciate them.. 1 who already helped me along for the coming 3rd year. Also returned the favour by helping them sell their products haha!

Saturday was day out at Johor again ^^

With dom's friend and gf. I have a shopping partner while the guys can have their guys talk haha! Becoming my favourite hangout place now. Did i mention its the 3rd time i went already in a month or two? :O think i'm going again this weekend haha.

And this 16RM ice cream. damn expensive for normal ice cream but i guess you're paying for the self customizable service. And a free polaroid shot of me and dom ! ^^

We had choco mixed vanilla and green tea mixed strawberry with some milo cereals, honey stars and some choco rice added on top!

Its time to get my contact lens and then i can finally put on make-up and not feel weird because of my specs. wooohooo.. still scared of taking out the lens though. looks so scary and dangerous. like one wrong move and i will scratch my eye ouch!!!!

Sunday was dom's daddy birthday!

Ate at Kuishin-Bo, the japanese buffet i was talking about in my previous post again. The food is getting boring and oops i binged again :(

On a side note, i'm really finally happy with my results :) Think i really worked hard this semester and the shagging out for the projects was worth it. I rmb nearing the exams that i was having thoughts of giving up working so hard.. that i won't be able to enter a local university as well.. but oh well since i shagged out 3 semesters already, might as well continue shagging for the rest right?

1 last semester of studying!!!!

Actually i am depressed about something and i really hope that i will be fine soon. 9 more days to wait. i hope i don't have to get an injection at all. painless pls :( damn worried and stressed and feel emo when i talk about it. but the more stressed i get, the more it will get worse soooooo enough talk!

Okay time to go sleep, told Gina i would be early tmr to set up the booth.
